Port happy crows challenged by afl draw to form united and productive team for the whole season
Crows have won their five consecutive home games for the first time since last summer’s Gra라이브 바카라nd Final, with the results pushing them up to sixth on the ladder and within six points of eighth in the West.
The Crows scored just 25.11 per cent of their shots in their win over Collingwood, with coach Paul Roos having given his team an emphasis on pressure-packed football during a four-game tour of Tasmania and South Australia this week.
That will make them more reliant on the ball and their pressure will be crucial, especially after the Crows’ last win of 2016 came at the hands of St Kilda, who held a 23-10 quarter-time lead before losing the ensuing penalty.
In the last 15 games for the Crows, they have averaged 18.12 points per game, the best in the league, as the pressure on them in games where they can take full advantage will n모나코 카지노ot be as intense.
They will face Port Adelaide at the MCG later this month and also get a crack at Geelong the following week in Port Phillip.
And Roos’s team will be in a good position to try and build on that game plan when they play the Kangaroos in mid-February.
„That game (against GWS) is not just as important as the rest of the games on that schedule, it’s important in our ability to build the momentum we need to play and build on those games,“ Roos said.
„At the moment we have a really good group of players, we have very focused young guys that are very excited to continue to develop and build a winning program.“
Crows to welcome Geelong
Geelong coach Ross Lyon is set to re-sign rookie ruckman Sam Skinner as well as defender Aaron Sandilands, who has also recommitted to a short-term deal.
Skinner is likely to be replaced by a rookie from North Adelaide as the Crows take aim at the Giants next week.
