John Daley had been tried as an adult for killing his mother, Karen Daley, in the 1970s with a shotgun and pistol and is serving seven life sentences for the crime
The court heard a statement by Mr Daley’s father, custodia cover samsung William Hickey, who said his son used the term ‘war of the mind’ to refer to the killing of his mother but that his son was ‘not mentally ill and did not intend harm’
William told the court the term was a ‘personal insult’ and his son’s family ‘had been fed this fact’ by authorities who were ‘not convinced of John Daley’s innocence’
‘I think people should be able to speak out,’ said William Hickey at the time
He said his son had admitted the crime in court but said he had not been made to admit killing his mother and said that was a personal insult.
Mr Hickey said he had no intention of telling John Daley’s parents why he had killed them.
‘I don’t know why he wants to say that,’ he told the court.
‘I was a little bit uncomfortable about it because it seemed like it was being made up by some of the police, a lot of the people who were making th바카라사이트e allegation that we didn’t see him that night.
‘I don’t want to say ‘he’s out there’. I would like to say that he’s not in jail, he’s not dead and he’s not a danger to anybody.’
After the Daley’s mother died, her family received a call from someone claiming to be in possession of a shotgun and a pistol which he claimed should have been kept in a locked safe in the family’s home.
Officers from the Rochdale force arrested the man, who was described as being white, coque iphone xr about 13 years old.
